Before we get started, here is a walkthrough of the booking process and some ground rules:
- You will fill out a "Getting to Know You" survey on our Booking page and be contacted within 24-48 hours to setup your free remote consultation.
- Remote consultations are held over phone, video call or Zoom for us to get acquainted, set our expectations and schedule regular session meeting times, depending on schedules.
- Before your first consultation and each coaching session you will receive an email with an outline of our conversation, the goals we have discussed and what we will be working to achieve within sessions.
- Once we have an idea of what areas of your life you are looking to improve or streamline, we can begin structured task lists and resource direction.
- The person booking the sessions must be the person seeking help and must be 100% committed to dedicating their time and opening their mind to change on the path of achieving their goals.
- I work with my clients, as I feel that mutual trust, respect, and a healthy balance of needs are essential in properly processing and prioritizing your life.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
*DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ALL IN-PERSON SESSIONS HAVE BEEN CONVERTED TO A VIRTUAL/REMOTE FORMAT.*
As I said above, I work with my clients to help you organize and understand your time, space and daily structures to better serve your own needs. Direct participation is important to have the resolution of knowing what you want, what you need, how it serves you in your life and the flexibility of mind to achieve it. Participation may be in the form of completing "homework" tasks towards achieving your goals, making decisions to create or discontinue habits that help or hinder your progress, reflecting on experiences to direct your path more efficiently or being open to noticing/sitting with difficulties that may present along the way.
How long are sessions?
Virtual/remote sessions can be any length between one and three hours, with the ideal session being 1-2 hours long. Sessions may be scheduled once a week, biweekly or monthly depending on the goals that you would like to achieve and in what time frame you would like to achieve them.
Sessions can be scheduled Monday-Saturday (calendar permitting) between 10am and 6pm.
These time restraints provide proper time for preparation, follow-up emails, task and/or product list reflections and should provide ample time to manage your day around.
Why can’t I book a gift session for my mother/sister/brother/father/neighbor/friend?
They could really use your help!
Your friend or family member is lucky to have you! While I love new clients, taking a person’s discomfort with where their life has arrived apart and putting it back together is a big change. While the ultimate goal is to make peoples' goals more efficiently achieved in general, forcing someone to do so when they are not yet ready can be incredibly traumatic.
Working with people with attachment disorders, anxiety and depression, sufferers of loss and people recovering from trauma has taught me that trust, comfort and moderation are necessary in helping people.
No matter the goal, without consent and respect, no progress or healing can be achieved.
